8:36). We must start to understand the bondage we are in by nature; then the freedom and liberty that is obtained in the TRUTH! Jesus Christ sets us free from sin, guilt, and self-centeredness. In HIM we can be truly free! So hang in there, Freedom is for you too! Thus Clean And Sober Church.Coms mission is to: 1. provide a safe, clean and healthy sober church environment for men and women in all phases of recovery from alcoholism and/or drug addiction. 2. assist clients who've been substance abusers to achieve and maintain a clean and sober lifestyle. 3. to return to society, self sufficient, independent, and to be self supporting. 4. to gain the acceptence of the community, modeled on the concept of "family", and the "family values" of tolerance, respect, cooperation, responsiblity, sharing and genuine concern. About sobriety the WORD says: But let us, since we are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:8). But be thou sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy ministry (2 Timothy 4:5). Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:13). But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer (1 Peter 4:7). Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). So based on Gods Word, Clean And Sober Church focuses our mission on strengthening men and women emotionally, spiritually, and economically in order to obtain the independence and life skills necessary to live a healthy and productive lifestyle. *Clean And Sober Church is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by AA/NA/Al-Anon or any other 12 step based program, intergroup or central services.
